304 Stainless Steel Top Flange

Airport ramp equipment is built to be tough, but damage is inevitable. When impacts occur, traditional embedded top flanges typically fail first, and repairing them means concrete demolition, extended gate downtime, and a full repair cycle that repeats after every impact.

The 4MF Replaceable Stainless Steel Top Flange breaks that cycle. Instead of being embedded in the concrete apron, the 304 stainless steel flange is sandwiched between the 4MF Bolt-Down Aircraft Load Rated Cover and the fiberglass pit face, located approximately 1.5 inches below grade. When damage occurs, the flange is replaced without touching the concrete. The work can be done by your own operators or supported by 4MF field service.
